Meet the Faculty
Caden Anderson
I'm Brother Caden Anderson and I would love to learn more about the Savior and His gospel with you! My wife's name is Megan. We currently live the dream with our family in Sanpete County, Utah. I am so blessed because discipleship and teaching are my passions and I love to share those things with you! Stop by my office at the Ephraim Institute anytime. I'd love to chat with you about the Gospel of Jesus Christ, life, or anything related to music, cars, and motorcycles. 🙂
Benjamin Bailey
Hello there! I’m Brother Benjamin Bailey, and I live here in Ephraim with my wonderful family. I met my wife, Kaydee, at UVU while we were both in school. She loves Jesus and reflects His love more clearly than anyone else I know. Together, we have four amazing kiddos and are grateful for all the marvelous blessings—and challenges—that come with raising them. I’m a proud nerd! I love Star Wars, The Lord of the Rings, MTG, D&D, and building with Legos. I’m a big fan of board games and enjoy playing tabletop war games. As a hobbyist, I love assembling and painting miniatures for my games. I also have a passion for building and sparring with full-contact medieval duct tape weapons, as well as writing. I’m currently drafting a middle-grade novel. I served my mission in Puerto Rico, Aruba, and Curaçao, where my desire to bring people to Christ truly began. That passion has continued in my work as a seminary and institute teacher. I’m excited for us to learn and grow together as we deepen our conversion to Him.

Mark Redd
I was born and raised in Colorado and served a mission to Houston, TX. I met my smokin’ hot wife, Tawny Thornton, while traveling in Europe and we are the parents of three crazy cool kids. I enjoy basketball, football, ultimate frisbee, trail running, backcountry snowmobiling, and weight lifting—and I never skip leg day. I have an open invitation for anyone to come and ball with me, but know this—even in the sunset of my prime, I could still play in the league. I have taught Seminary and Institute for 13 years and some of my most cherished relationships are with the amazing students I have been privileged to teach. My office door is always open, and I will do my best to always point you to the Savior!
